Style inspiration

My current style Icon is.....Janey Slater, from the Watchmen! Her late 50s hair, makeup and dresses throughout the film were just so adorable! I think I'll be doing my hair in this style for a little while.
On the modeling front I have some fun news! I am in this month's issue of Bachelor Pad Magazine in an add for Cameo Intimates! You can order a copy online for only 5$!
I am going on a two week vacation starting today. Needless to say I am soooo excited! I will be bringing my laptop so im sure there will be a few posts! I also have a few photoshoots planned during my travels so there may be some new material in my portfolio in the comming weeks.

tata!

Trying stay warm in style

Over the past few years I've been searching for a coat that is incredibly warm but still has some style to it. I know you are all thinking heavy vintage wools and furs, and yes, that does hold me over throughout December. January and February around these parts call for much more than that with average tempertatures of minus thirty-five to minus forty with wind, however.

Luckily, a lovely Montreal brand named Soia and Kyo have come to the rescue; because they're in Montreal they definately know how cold it gets so they're coats are very warm but still so cute and affordable!

My mother has agreed to purchase this jacket for me for Christmas, which makes me soooo happy! The photo doesn't do it justice, it is actually more of a silver sheen in real life. Look at the cute bow!

what a bargain!

This week I got this lovely little mad men style number for just 9$ on Etsy! The hem has come undone but I can fix that in a jiffy! The buttons are so cute and I don't have any dresses in this burnt pumpkin color. It is also wool, which is fantastic as it is now steadily below zero degrees on a daily basis; we had a mini snow storm on Friday!

Apologies

It must seem as though I've disappeared! Frankly, I sort of have. I've been so busy and stressed with work that as soon as I get home I feel like going straight to bed! Not to mention I've seriously been neglecting my gym routine aswell; as soon as i sit down on a yoga mat I feel like napping on it. I've been so busy with my day job that I haven't really had time for photoshoots in months either. I am quite looking forward to my two week vacation come the end of december; I already have one photoshoot planned, an ode to Alfred Cheney Johnston! My portfolio is certainly lacking in lovely 20s themes so it will be a great addition!

Although, I have taken two outdoor outfit pictures that im hoping to post soon! It will certainly happen at some point this week.
